This course is designed to provide officers new to dealing with Outlaw Motorcycle Gang with background on these groups and the knowledge, tools and skills to effectively apply intelligence, education, prevention and enforcement in addressing issues relating to groups in their community.

Course description:
- This eight-day course is designed to equip officers who are new to dealing with Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs with a comprehensive background on these groups. Participants will gain the knowledge, tools, and skills in the areas of intelligence, education, prevention, and enforcement to effectively implement strategies and respond to issues related to these organizations within their communities. This course involves both classroom and practical sessions.

Prerequisites:
- Current sworn member of a law enforcement agency who is in good standing. Minimum two (2) years of service.
- This is an introductory course and is not intended for officers who have experience with outlaw motorcycle gangs (i.e. a significant amount of previous training on the topic, more than two (2) years in a unit focused on OMG intelligence or investigations).
- Preference will be given to officers new to law enforcement activities relating to outlaw motorcycle gangs (from uniform officers who may conduct traffic enforcement to new Tier III OMG Investigators).
